You wake up and don't rush into anything and spend time with your phone in the bed. You say Yes to all the plans, you are asked for. You see a birthday notification of a friend on FB and think I will wish him later, because obviously you have  all day to go. You keep on watching same random songs, standup videos and other stuff on YouTube. You check your phone more often than anything else. Sundays and Holidays, No more excite you. You open and close WhatsApp just to see no new messages. You spend enormous  time scrolling Instagram and FB feeds. Finding difficulty in getting sleep at night because afternoon nap ended a bit longer. Seeking validation from more people than required. Trying to argue and fight over internet posts. Not getting an answer to the question of What to do next, in the middle of the day. Lastly, going to bed with a regret that I have wasted yet another day. Life is short my friend. Make each second count.

Oh boy! Where do I even start? Have you ever heard of Matatus?, these heavily pimped minibusses used as main transport system in Kenyan cities?. I guese not. Matatus are like our ‘subway or metro system’. As a young adult obviously you will not have that money to take uber or taxi everyday. Matatus are cheap they can go from 20 shillings to 100 shillings basically a few cents to 1 dollar. Some even come with free WiFi, imagine having no WiFi at home but whenever you go to school or work you have wifi. They are always fitted with screens and the ambience is pretty cool. Who doesn't want cool things? As a young adult why waste time in mediocre taxi while you can enjoy these magnificent matatus?. Nairobi night life is one if the best. We have  cool clubs from normal to strip clubs, and yes we don't have gay clubs. Even the strip club legality is questionable but who cares as long as they are operating we are cool with it. Migos bring 'culture' to the BET stage. Migos officially kicked off the BET Awards by taking home the night's  first award for Best Group. Other contenders in the category included 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne (Collegrove), A Tribe Called QUest, Fat Joe and Remy Ma , and Rae Sremmurd. April marked the trio's debut Culture album going platinum, following its distinction as a Number 1 album and "Bad and Boujee"'s run as a Number 1 single. Soon after Quavo joined Post Malone on stage for a performance of Malone's "Congratulations" before firing into "T-Shirt," and "Bad and Boujee" alongside Offset and Takeoff . The group recently hinted at a Culture II album being on the way. Let's hope the momentum maintains.

The latest in a lineup of exciting performers. In a night that included electric performances from the likes of Migos , French Montana and Swae Lee, and Chris Brown and Gucci Mane , Atlanta emcee Future was next to take to the stage to perform "Mask Off." The set, however wasn't complete without Future bringing out Kendrick Lamar to perform his verse on the track's remix, equipped with an extravagant scene fitted with sultry dancers and moody lighting. Asahd made up for Bieber's absence. Sunday evening's BET Awards was one big rush of highlight performances. Opening up with an electric performance from showman Bruno Mars , the show's lineup came to a close with DJ Khaled hopping onstage with honoree Chance The Rapper ,  award recipient Quavo, and nominee Lil Wayne for the Grateful cut "I'm The One." Fresh off the release of  More Life back in March, Drake is back again with more new music. In the brief period of about 48 hours, the Toronto superstar has given the world three songs to digest. First came the 40-produced “ Signs ,” which premiered at the Louis Vuitton runway show in Paris for its Spring-Summer 2018 collection on Thursday (June 22). Young Thug is credited as one of the writers on the record, although the capacity of his involvement hasn’t been fully revealed. DJ Khaled delivered his monster album,   Grateful , at midnight on Friday (June 23), which features a song with Big Sean , Travis Scott and Rick Ross titled “On Everything.” The internet has evidently already had enough time with the 23-track project to surmise the I Decided. rapper could be throwing subliminal shots at Kendrick Lamar. Watch some previously unreleased footage from Lil Wayne's "The Carter" documentary. Back in 2009, Lil Wayne released an in-depth documentary-type movie called The Carter , which centered around his  Carter III release & everything lead up to it. Well if you remember during the movie, there’s a segment where Lil Wayne can be seen rapping a verse from his “30 Minutes to New Orleans” record while on the tour bus, but the full footage never saw the light of the day… until today that being. On Friday, LilWayneHQ  got their hands on the full, 4-minute video of Lil Wayne spitting that shit, and doing it all in his prime too. Snoop Dogg says he wasn't dissing Young Thug or anyone else in his latest video. "Moment I Feared." In Snoop's video "Moment I Feared" we see  a Young Thug lookalike dancing around in a dress. A visual that made some feel Snoop was being "openly homophobic" and took offense  too.
